im on holiday well tuning holiday LOL.it will be caus you set the injector sie diffent then tune but when you go too startnext the base pulse width for stat will be wrong with all stock gear it should just run the stock injector rate and hen mess with injector multipliers or maf scalers i its out every where tr to avod fudging the injector constant you dont want to lie o the ecu at all.

Thanks for that all but I didn't have internet at home to check last night, but I must actually be learning something because I sort of figured those things out by myself, but still 2 problems!
1 I think I can fix, which is even when I leave the base injector rate the factory size for the injectors that are in it & tune by inj multipliers, then the same problem I can't start after I switch it off, now after reading kalmaker notes there are 2 things to adjust for this; I'll paste the instructions here & tell me what you think,

FUL:TAE:CLTMULPN[clt] This variable controls the amount of accel enrichment according to temperature in Park/Neutral.
You may have noticed when intercooler fitted, that on startup when cold, the engine starts, and virtually stalls immediately, and you may have noticed as it does stall, the TAE flag lights up and BPW increases.
Its much worse when cold than at normal operating temp.
Have a look at these 2 maps and you will see why.
So at 8 degrees drop the factor down to approx .350 and ramp down to zero at 80 deg, stay at zero until 104 deg and then ramp up slightly.
Its even more pronounced in variable FUL:TAE:CLTMULDR[clt] which is when you select Drive.
At 8 degrees drop to approx .280 down to zero at 68 degrees and then leave zero right through to 152 deg.

&

Now that you've done your Accel Enrich , you may notice when engine is cold it will start and may continue to run, but wont when it is warm.
This variable will take care of that.
If you have a look at the 3D view, you may understand why.
You basically need to slide this whole table over from where it drops to zero at approx 32 to 44 degrees, so that this point starts at approx 116 degrees, and ramp it up to approx 15 gps at 32 degrees.

This map only applies at startup and opens the IAC steps for the time breaks displayed.

So that could be problem 1 fixed but the other 1 is shitting me & worrying me the most!!!!

when I set me injector multipliers so it is running crisp through all fuel loads, after sitting with closed throttle for more than a couple of minutes(so kalmaker & possible other softwares calls below 3% tps signal closed throttle) it goes back to as lean as cats piss-this worrys me as I don't want to burn valve's out & it creates a flat spot when taking off!
There has got to be something there that is controlling it, but it's got me buggerd what it is!

Cheers all for previous & future help!

By the way I think all of you know but just to say again the car has 17 psi pulley, water to air intercooler, bigger throttle body, 1.9 ratio rockers & for now put completely stock standard mass air sensor back on it!

well theres an idle fuel table which is seperate to the normal table ... no idea what its called in kalmaker but its probably your culprit ....

i know with the vn computer it will go from main fuel table to idle fuel table after like 20-30 seconds of idling or something like that.

Next update! LOL
I tried the above 2 things I mentioned yesterday & damn it it didn't make it start any better I had to lower the inj rat down to 200 again to get it to start & run!
So now back to the drawing board!
I will check out & cross reference what you mentioned holden 202 CHEERS!

Actually, looking at what you mentioned,
Klamaker have 2 fuel tables the idle one called VEFRUZ, these are all in percentages at the different ranges & set at around 69% accross the board, but no matter what I put them at go all the way down to 0%in real time of course & tracking where it is at, at that time & it does nothing , so then I go to 100% & no difference at all!

Now I don't know whether that is because the software I have can be used with or without the map sensor & I'm trying to tune without the map sensor first, but it is still looking for this to adjust these tables, not sure I think delco wizz mentioned about it, but i'm not sure whether that was just in the auto update section!

& Kalmaker call the open throttle fuel tables VEFRUM!!

Still got no clue!!!
I'll keep tryng!
CHEERS AGAIN ALL, four great helps unlike the actual kalmaker forum!!!

its a shame the tables in kalmaker have such useless names ... (well maybe the naming does have usefulness but not to me)

makes it hard for anyone else to help you with it and as you say, the kalmaker guys arn't being very receptive.

Yeah your telling me, thanks Holden 202! :punk:

I just heard back from the distributor finally & he said he had a stocky with only 10psi pulley change on it & he altered the inj rate down to 180 & the multipliers & power enrichment only at 1!
So I have got to be doing something wrong or it really isn't designed for either map or maf it may really only be designed & tested with map only, & I may have to bite the bullet!
Where do you get the special terminals from that go into factory harness for ecm(to wire in the map signal wire- to B10), I don't particularly want to wreck a good harness I have here for 1 terminal!
I will try re loading factory cal in with the auto stuff masked & set up yet again & see how I go!Hmm back to drawing board!
:comp:

if you haven't changed the injectors i don't see any reason to change the injrate .... as i understand it putting the wrong number in there screws up more stuff than you can imagine so you really want to get it right from day one.

still whatever he's done he's got it working so it must work, maybe you do need to have the map in there for smooth running.

your best bet for terminals would be to rape another harness or also check out http://www.eficonnection.com they have almost every plug and terminal known to man on there and you can buy seperate pins etc.....
