it did the same on a usb and Bluetooth unit. once I unticked it, they both worked.

even did my test seed unlock on an e38 ecu.

Just a note to all if it doesn't connect on the first attempt for the reason of not getting the vehicle details & then you try & re-connect it will say can't find elm device, this is because it's already tried going to hi speed mode & the ELM either needs to be unplugged from the USB or you can then just select 115200 as the speed & it will connect!

Alright, as long as its working. Each device will behave slight different to one another!

Had a box full of bits and pieces rock up yesterday, now have:
-VZ BCM
-VZ PIM
-VE ECU
-VE BCM
-and some other bits and bobs.
Hopefully.. most of the diagnostics for the VE occurs on 11bit CAN and not single wire gmlan.

Can also take the mystery out of this shocking BCM/PIM/ECU linking procedure. But from what I hear, the hardest thing to find out is the IMMO code which is needed to lock everything together.

can you add the capability to log to a text file for the seed key finder? mainly so if the computer reboots etc, you can find the last key and continue on.
