It was originally fitted with ATFY but that was when it was using avgas. Now that its on methanol it has been using the attached bin, but runs better with the ATFY, I think due to the timing. The previous logs were all in the shed with the engine under no load. We gave it a quick squirt up the road & it registers "TOO RICH" on the LM-1. When I checked out the logs, I noticed that when I increase the injector flow rate,the idle appears to stay the same but the higher revs become richer. So I'll take a chip back to the start with the .06 flow rate & play from there.

well from what i saw of the wideband logs it was too lean most of the time!
anyways i'll have a tinker and see if i can't beng together a bin for you to try

In the shed it still reads lean, but when the engine is loaded up on the road it goes very very rich by the logs.

id say thats because the ecotec spark tables of Holden202s are way too low to be using on a buick. that will be making it read a bit so rich coz its so retarted at wot.
look at the table below, both of these are petrol tables, one for ecotec (the current spark at wot) the other is a petrol buick table.

you want to go even higher again than the stock petro buick table by minimum 5 degrees.
I rekcon when holden202 puts in some buick tables and checks over the bin it should run much much better

ok give this a whirl ... based it from the methanol 202 bin i uploaded but a fair bit of stuff in there has been changed to suit ATFY spec ....
so, map A & B are both suitable for methanol so that will save any confusion.
inj rate is .065 thats my best guess going off all the logs i've seen and the info you have given for injector flow etc .... it should get it reasonably close.
VE table is straight up ATFY just expanded to fit the $12P table size.
spark table is ATFY and expanded for $12P with a percentage added on for methanol.
changed all the iac and temp offset stuff to suit ATFY ..... aswell as idle settings etc
give it a blast and let me know how you go
ps. i believe your bin was stacked before, if so you'll have to do that again as this one isn't.

oh, and all AFR tables are methanol spec 6.4:1 AFR

so this is the new methanol wot map inthe bin that holden202 just posted up. as you can see, the blue line is what spark you were running, the red line is the spark ATFY has and the green line is the new methanol spark map.

Thanks for the trouble that you have gone to

, I'll give it a go. Now for the "spanner in the works". We've been chasing an intermittent miss fire that has stuck it's head up, which I think is what was seen when the LM-1 shows "Too Rich", it may have been given me a bum steer with everything. Things that have been replaced, coils, plugs, leads, injectors, crank sensor, dfi, ecu, various chips. That only leaves the map sensor, tps, temp sensor & the wiring loom, so I'm not sure which one it is.

i had a major miss after going turbo a couple of weeks ago i closed my gaps down to 1mm was still there opened the bonnet and discovered my brandnew eagle 9mm leads had 2 inch long arcs coming out the side of them onto the manifold peice of hose over the leads and it hasnt missed since the guys in usa do it a lot on the v6 leads in there drag cars they are bad for arcing out through the insulation pretty major spark comes out them coils
