Finally got around to getting the diff bearings all sorted out and also finished welding the ends on at the correct lengths, its now as small as it can go without having to re-spline axles, using two short vn axles.... fitted the spool and longer ARP studs as well..... i am just trying to find a set of diff gears, 3.7, 3.9 or 4.11's hopefully.
bit of grinding of some welds and some paint and it will be all but done!
After some more goodies arrived i started working on the guage cluster, after a few quick measurements it was pretty clear it was going to work out perfectly, some minor filing of the smaller holes and the water temp and oil pressure gauges will fit nicely, and some similar on the speedometer hole should see the tacho sorted too!
you can see the right smaller hole is stock, left is after enlarging it just out till that lip is removed and its perfect for the gauges!
i really wanted to keep the stock dash panel if it was possible so good outcome

i will fit the boost gauge and wideband to a seperate plate under the dash most likely....
These cars never originally had blinkers, so they were retro fitted, and by the looks of this dash it was by drilling two holes in the panel and adding green lights ... kinda sucks but i will probably put alternator and CEL lights in there or something similar.
if anyone is actually interested, you can't get the degrees C autometer gauge locally (that i found anyway) so i actually ordered all the gauges direct from autometer, price ended up being very comparable to vpw in australia and summit in america, so happy with that, and i really wanted deg C not F!
