I was given this Carburetor air/fuel tester over the weekend but it came with no instructions.

Des anyone know if these are any good or at lest have some instructions on ow it works

i would take it would have a sensor to bung up the exhaust and would read AFR?

Sweet.
Been a while.
I used to use one for all my tunning.
turn on to calibrate use set knob to set needle to set line on meter then turn to test and us the balance knob to balance area on meter when it read to go you put the hose up the exhaust and it will if it still works correctly start reading air / fuel ratio.
no good if vehicle has a cat converter.

now its been some years so above may have knobs be back to front but that was how mine worked.

What any good real tunning shop would use to tune a vehicle before wideband O2 sensors were thought of.

Thanks for the info Apples, will have to give it a try and see if it works. Doesn't even look like it has been used
