Stall converter

Post by darky82 »

Hi all, recently put a 3500rpm stall converter in my car but it has no lock up clutch in it, will this effect anything else in the tune, do I need an adustment somewhere? This stuff is all new to me :comp:

you could probably disable the TCC stuff in the tune if you wanted too but really it wont matter.

the only other thing i'd suggest is put a tranny cooler on it if you don't already have one, as the biggest issues with high stall converters is the heat they create at low rpms when they are "slipping" heaps, and heat is the number one killer of trannys!
