hey guys
finally i have removed the vr auto harness and pcm and fitted up vn v8 harness with the 808 with emulator.
looking for a 12p 2 bar tune for a 304 i can use as a base tune to help me get started if anyone has something???
its a 304 with a t04z and 60lbs injectors

honestly you'd probably be best off getting a stock tune, change it to suit your injectors and 2 bar and go from there....
anything else is never going to suit your engine anyways and most times when i've tried to use "base tunes" i end up going back to square one and get better results.

1 - take 12P BLCF, set it to 2 bar. set injector rate to around 0.045 to suit 60 lb injectors.
2 - copy the spark from 100 kpa over to 100 kpa in the boost table, then drop 1 degree of spark for every 10 kpa boost.
3 - open the VE table, take the 100 kpa column, and copy it all the way across all columns in the boost VE table.
4 - open "Map A: A/F Ratio - Boost Air Fuel ratio vs RPM and MAP" table and set all cells to 11.5.
4 - open "Charge Temp - Boost % Coolant contribution" for calculating charge temp Vs RPM & MAP and invent the values from your creative mind based on the 0-100kpa table.
5 - open "Injector - Injector Bias vs ADINJ" and add about 0.6 to the whole table
Abracadabra - one turbo v8 starter tune. insert wideband and adjust fuelling to suit.

hey guys
having some problems connecting to flashtool.
this is a vr v8 with 808 sxr emulator and a festy realtime board/nvram.
trying to connect via aldl/usb adapter
red light comes on emulator when key on
tried the base settings in flash tool, vr 808 $12p code. wont connect.
seems to connect to tunerpro but cant confirm data
any help would be great

Red led on all the time means it is not running code. Have you burnt the stacked blcf bin with offset 0?
You will need to choose to ignore echo in the flashtool too.

yeah i believe festy added the bin to the nvram for me.
now my first issue ive noticed is the wiring from vr to vn is different under the dash.
there is a 9 pin connector that appears different between the model. also seems to be missing the A8 aldl wire as per VR V8.
looks like this is part of the problem??
has anyone changed the looms and had the same issue?
is the wiring the same for a 808 and 802???

now looks like C1, C12, B1, A10, A12, A7 and D6 are the ones on the connector from the Vr Auto loom.
guess i need to work out where they go to the vn 808 loom?

so ive got everything back togethor now and a good nvram with a base 12p tune on it suited to 60lbs injectors
but now the stupid thing wont start
seems to have plenty of fuel, injectors are pulsing, coil is live but im getting no spark. am i missing something here??
vats is turned off
checked all connections seem fine. had no probs starting with the vr auto stuff.
doesnt even want to try.
