Programers for eprom's etc

Hi all just wondering if these programers would be any good or woud i be better off spending a bit more cash??
Only just starting out and want to have a play without getting into to much shit with the minister of war lol

if you mean eeprom programmer, GQ4X is a good machine and good price, cheap on ebay.
