BFPM VR V8 Manual on a 808?
Has anyone successfully got a BFPM calibration to work on a 808 pcm?
I had a mate try & said it wouldn't fire at all, but the exact same memcal plugged into an 082 & fired up no worries?
Could the comms baud cause this issue?

Yeah thats what I thought, but why would the same tune run in the 082?
Re: BFPM VR V8 Manual on a 808?
the 082 is probably connected to a bcm which is sending the disable anti theft signal up the comms line??

Re: BFPM VR V8 Manual on a 808?
So can the BFPM run on the 808 with just disabling VATS, sorry for miss confusion just trying to figure it out if I ever need to & not sure if there's separate stuff to disable if running on different PCM?
Re: BFPM VR V8 Manual on a 808?
yes, disable vats, reburn it and theres no reason it shouldnt run on an 808

Yeah thats what I thought, the guy is pretty under the pump A.T.M. so maybe he just missed it, still has me stumped why it worked in the 082 but maybe he linked them, thanks for the advice!

LOL, so that explains even more if no linking needed then yeah must have left it enabled & BCM was able to receive that info(that an 808 cant send) & BINGO it worked! as I said he is under the pump starting his own workshop & may have missed it!
Thanks ALL for the clarification!!!!
