HELP! trouble with tuner pro baud/band width

Post by capitalgainz »

hey, new to the site, have been reading posts, studying and downloading things, following advice etc.
ok so not sure if any of this matters but i may as well start from the begining.
im running a toshiba laptop with windows vista sp2, using tuner pro the latest version from their website, i have a elm327 cable part number 1008 that runs on band rate 38400, my vehicle is a holden vt berlina series 2 ls1, i have downloaded the plugin for elm 327 and folllowed the instructions to a T but, when i start up tuner pro rt, i get no hardware detected emulation not enabled, when i go into preferences and try to use the plug in, i click test and it says the ob2 cannot be connected on 8400 band rate or something?
how can i change this setting, how can i adjust the baud rate or band width?

any help would be very appreciated and thanks guys your site looks really good :) :punk:

the plugin and 8192 baud is for use with the older delco pcms. for ls1 there is an elm adx by vn5000, though it did not work for me. failing that try any of the palmer performance products (pcmscan etc)
