As some may have followed I have a VX L67 which has recently failed and is now in the process of being rebuilt.
In the mean time my intention was to fit the vehicle with an L36 Ecotec to keep it on the road as this will take some months to finish the engine to the standard I want.
I purchased an engine & gearbox from a VY, using the harness from the VX L67 and ECU I have now fitted this to the car. Obviously the tune is completely different for the two engines so I have sat down for a couple of days and input all the tables and scalers from the VY tune into the bin I run on the car and uploaded this to the VX ECU.
It cranks, no fire.
I have tried a few things, including uploading the original bin with the injector base rate changed in the hopes this would be enough to start it, but again no success.
The engine ran in the vehicle it came out of but that was some months ago, I believe it would be unlikely to be the engine. Any ideas? I cant think why changing all the values in the VX bin to better suit the NA nature of the engine would work as its the same V6 basically?

Have you changed the PCM or is it still your original one? The PCM and BCM are linked, maybe try disabling VATS to begin with and see if it will start then. Failing that try getting a log of it cranking to confirm all sensors are working and you can see an RPM signal.
