BCM spec's

Post by benk »

Just chasing some info on a VR BCM and can't seem to be able to find much info anywhere on them.
I'm looking to replace the BCM in my VR (93 SS) as it has stopped communicating with anything and has basicly disabled the car.... Its a mid range BCM 789 and am having trouble locating another second hand one. But I have found that there are a few different mid range BCM that came out in the VR's. I am wondering if these are interchangable and if anyone has a list of what is different in each of the versions and what they control. Eg. if the pin outs are the same and what acessories they run

Ok... well I wonder where mine fits in?? Mine is labeled 92048 789 mid. It came out of of my 93 VR SS. Just wondering if the 146 mid would fit? It does have power windows and cruise control
