Getting Cranking Fuel Correct $12p

Hey all,
I just used $12p V111 BLCF for the first time!
Took a couple of days to get it working correctly, BIG THANKS to VL400 for all his help, still not 100% sure what was the issue (possibly counterfeit NVram that I bought without knowing it was counterfeit - so maybe had nothing to do with VL400 at all).
AGAIN SORRY VL400 for the stress/pressure & thank you for all your help!
So on to the topic, got everything sorted out on the tune pretty well, after I figured out my closed throttle VE was affecting my tuning once I figured that, won't be doing it again while tuning!
One thing I'm not sure of is knowing how to adjust cranking fuel I tried lowering 1st & 2nd stage by 10% but when warm it needs a little bit of throttle to keep running!
Is there something in particular to look at in logs while cranking?
It's a VN 5litre Auto with flat tops, 9.5 comp & 286 hydraulic cam!
Cheers VX L67

possibly maybe counterfit nvram problems

Have you not read the threads about how they nearly all are, and how hard it is to buy genuine ones? Was it cheaper than vl400s? well..... anyway I guess you know now.
Have you changed the injectors? generally scale the 2 cranking tables by the same amount as the difference between old and new injectors.

Not convinced about counterfeit ram as I tried the same 1 after & worked fine, could have been user error to with quad stacking bin but can't see why that would be any different to zero's orFF's... anyway all is ok now! (I have a feeling I bought 5 for $80 3years ago & before I knew about counterfeit CRAP)
Yeah that's what's weird there stock injectors so shouldn't really have to change anything once the VE table is correct & had me a bit stuffed!

How does it start with the tables left as stock?

It did the exact same thing with standard settings, it had atfl bin in it!

I do remember being told when I first started tuning a couple of years ago the key to watch if having issues with cranking & not firing is BPW!
I can't remember what it's supposed to be or look for but noticed when this has the cranking & not starting issue (unless touch Throttle) its at around 13BPW?

its a bit of a tricky one but few things i've found that work are, if your cranking for ages thats usually not enough CBPW and on the other hand if it cranks and starts ok but its sounding a bit flooded when it first starts its obviously too much.... but there is also a fair bit in between thats hard to get spot on

And a picture to show the issue and which tables are in effect post start...

It starts using the cranking PW tables, and also decays them after a long crank. After the engine hits 400 RPM it changes to run mode. The PW is decayed to the run mode calculated PW, which is now using VE and target AFR tables.
I would be adding some more cranking fuel and see how it reacts.

Just Noticed there was another thread talking about fuelling issues & not sure if it's 12p or while cranking but thought I'd upload this for reference of ALL fuel cranking terms in XDF there is obviously more for MAP/b but this is all the 1's listed I found!
