connection loss during tuning in RT
Hi there, I am currently tuning using tunerpro rt v500.8139 with. OSE plugin 1.44. Whilst tuning I lose connection sometimes more when car is moving. All connections to laptop and Ecu are good. When I go to 're-search for plugin it will not find it, the only way I can get it to initialize is when I disconnect the usb and re-connect while ignition is on. Plugin shows up in tunerpro and I can't seem to find a fix. Any ideas? Thanks

have seen similar, USB driver issues. what interface are you using? are newer drivers available? or reinstall current version?

I don't know much about CDM chip set devices. If you continue with that interface you will need 32bit for 32bit XP and 64 for 64bit. win the won't let you install an incompatible driver. I would recommend you get an ftdi chipset interface.

Re: connection loss during tuning in RT
It is a USB comm from here so should be using the vcp ftdi driver. There is a direct link in the instructions to get it

Re: connection loss during tuning in RT
Some laptops have a HDD protection app running so when you knock them it parks the heads to save the drive from damage, this normally gives data errors while driving from bumps in the road. Check that no app is running in the system tray for drive protection.
