This can be a serious overlook for some tuners as tried & tested by the1 & others possibly, but know his methods work!

Without the Batt Voltage Offset specs from new injectors into the calibration? Tuning is a nightmare, if you can get it the VE table looks all wrong.... Some guys have said "well the car is always around 14 volts when running!" Look at that chart and see some injectors are 1.xx and some are .15 at 14 volts?

i guess the short answer is that if it didn't make such a difference to a tune there wouldn't be a table specifically for it hey

probably easiest to set injector size correctly then set 14 volts colomn and see what the ve table looks like then unplug alternator and tune injector voltage as volts go down to keep the same a/f ratio as volts drop before tuning

Old thread - but that's an interesting table there... I spot a trend
Except for a few wierd ones they mostly follow a similar curve:

- injectortimes.png (19.84 KiB) Viewed 4782 times
If you know the dead time for any specific voltage, applying a factor to the delay of about 1.2 per volt will get you pretty close to the curve for most of those injectors.
i.e. for 1v less multiply the delay by 1.2, or 1v more divide by 1.2.

awesome! nice work guys. I can use the deka table as a starting point for my unknown deka and apply some of the stuff here to work it out even closer.
can we also have the tables of stock factory holden injector times as well for comparison?

looking at that table graphed like that it would seem you could probably just fudge the injector BPC and have good fueling LOL just ae etc may not be the best

Yeah good point. I guess most injector coils would be pretty much the same as each other and have a similar current draw etc, with the main difference being the solenoid displacement - so it makes sense there's a relationship between the times.

yeah and doesnt allow for fuel pressure
