shouldn't be zero, all factory cals have there deadtimes.

hmm I might have defined it incorrectly.. will have to check. So the actual offset used for calculation is [cal]+0.5msec?

yeh so for example VS V6 S/C has 0.50ms deadtime at 14.40volts in the factory tune, but it's actually 1.00ms as VS-VY code for some reason has 0.50ms built in. So if you get deadtime tables given to you from ID or Bosch or whoever, subtract 0.50ms from each value to use for deadtime tables in VS-VY, as far as i know 808 doesn't have any offset so straight data will be correct.

some new gear i scored cheap. HP bench PSU 0-60v 0-10amp and fluke frequency generator.
I did some deadtime testing on a new sheet ive made up using the new gear to reverify my results.

Reference line setup on these ones for 3.5bar so you can see how linear they are. looks like i can tickle the low pulse adder table a bit more, pitty the table didn't go up higher to 6ms or so

I found something very similar in the .xdfs of the LT-5 cals. The Inj. Offset v BATT V uses the formula which "doubles" the OFFSET to account for both Opening and Closing times of injector. So the table displays total offset. I ran into this as I tried to tweak those values to accurately represent the ACCEL 21# injectors I am using rather than the stock Bosch. The Injector Offset table for Low PW does not do this.
Unfortunately, ACCEL never published the offsets for the their 150121 injectors altho they do now have values posted for 24# injectors and up.

yes VS-VY have a built in 0.5ms delay, so if using any other ecu that has standard "total" figure for battery tables you would have to add 0.5ms, it is a bit of pain but all PCM's and ECU's have there quirks.

it's getting there, it's about where i need it to be now for what my purposes are, obviously there is the consistent urge to tweak more! But i haven't had any time. I do want to grab a coolant temp sensor and fit it into the tank so i can log fuel temperature, also the pump is currently inside the tank, i will mount it external and perhaps make the tank a bit larger. I have been toying around with different ideas to make measuring the fluid more accurate but haven't come up anything solid yet, i am planing on testing one of these.
