Clock Spring Plug Removal

Post by Chuff »

Hey all,

Does anyone know if the black plug in the attached picture can be removed from the clock spring mechanism, and if so, what's the secret to it? I've tried squeezing the white plastic bits around it while tugging on the plug, but that doesn't seem to work.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks.

No does not come out the white side clips are to lock it in the straight ahead position when removing the steering wheel works some time.
Don't make excuses. Make more horsepower.
