Need help vy v6
Need help vy v6
Hi guys,
i have a VY V6 auto
I've tried downloading the full bin file from my ute using the OSE Enhanced Flash Tool V145 and using the usb aldl cable i got from Antus.
I've then opened the bin in Tuner pro RT and the data is random. I've tried a couple of different xdf hoping to have it read true just haven't had any luck with it yet.
What might i have wrong?
Thanx for any help,

Bin looks ok. It's BCC is DSZT.
You might be trying to use the DTCF XDF which is not compatible.

Hi guys
I'm hoping some one can help again, i'm using the VX Engine and trans TP5 V104 yoda69 edition adx for logging and i'm wanting to know if the Knock Retard Degress Cyl#1 to #6 is the timing pulled from actual knock or timing being pulled for some other reason?
Also under flags what do CYLINDER 1 NOK SENSOR PRESENT for each cylinder represent?
Thanx

I dont have a deep understanding of the VYs but I'll try and answer your questions. Assuming logging is working correctly knock retard degrees is the amount of timing that is being pulled from detecting knock, and NOK (knock) sensor present in the data stream would mean the PCM thinks the sensor is present on the engine and wired in. Im not sure if thats a tune setting or decided because of electrical measurement. If you mean in the XDF then you'd use that to turn knock detect off on those cylinders.
