Companies/people and XDF's

Post by silentshout »

Greetings All

After much frustration attempting to find maps etc for my car, im no further than when i started and have given up.

Just wondering if there are any companies or People that someone knows of, who I could pay to create an xdf for my ecu?

Ecu in question is the Simtec 71 found in a fair few cars with the z18xe engine (mine being the Barina SRI XC 1.8L). It is KWP2000 protocol and OBD2 (if that helps at all) I can attach a .bin dump if anyone is interested too.

Many thanks are in order for any information.

Kind Regards
Rick

Post your bin, I might be able to get you started with a very basic XDF.

Many thanks in advance.

I ran it through winols to see if it could detect any maps, they all dont look like maps im used to and there are 42 of them? :wall:

I know how to tune a car, but disassembling/hacking an ecu, thats over my head

My basic goals are to be able to adjust fuel, spark, o2 and rev limiter. Pretty much the basics for any tune with the goal of forced induction later in the year.

Here is the file.
