VS L67 A2A closed/open loop problems
I have a feeling this may be over most of our pay budgets, but I'm still trying to tune the VS L67 with A2A & having it running pretty sweet but every now & then the closed loop fuel goes from disable to enabled & changes from what I want it to idle at 16:1 to 14:7 even though I have set it to not go closed loop fuelling if under 1200rpm or 273MGC.
Also I want it to force closed loop IAC control & not sure why this isn't working as it works in the stock format & I have left it all as normal so it should still work all the time but can see in the log it goes from closed loop idle disable to set & then the IAC goes to zero steps, I have it idling pretty strong so it doesn't make it stall in this log, but every now & then when it becomes inactive it does stall.
I'm guessing seeing it has 10 times the amount of MAF airflow (although MGC & MAFHz are close to normal) is what may be causing the issues!?
Can use any VS adx to view the xdl hence why I didn't worry about attaching.

I found that is where it's strongest & doesn't want to stall while coming up to intersections, moving through p/n to r/d etc...
Seems strange I know but thats what it likes, stupidly enough it's strongest idle spark range is negative 3 to zero!

its got no idle steps while cruising along with throttle closed it thinks its idling to high so its pulled all the steps so when you get slow enough that the driveline isnt holding the rpm up anymore it wont open fast enough and it will stall

and im guessing thats not the real full bin you are working with by the strange settings in some tables LOL bit hard to help without a full real running bin

Re: VS L67 A2A closed/open loop problems
A lot of the other stuff isn't defined, but it's not stuff that affects the idle area for closed loop IAC & open loop fuel, as it was I added the Decel Enleanment to the xdf as I wasn't sure if that could affect it, but the rest of what I've changed isn't a contributing factor to the IAC & fuel flags I want enabled.
As you can see from that log it did hold the rev's up coming to intersections as it didn't stall, but every now & then it does! So the idle area is strong just need to make the IAC stay in closed loop & fuel stay open loop!

a log of it going from 16:1 to 14.7 would be handy that log has it commanding 16:1 for a milisecond part way through not really showing the problem as its happening spends a hell of a lot of its time in PE mode.keeping it open loop fueling is easy as long as its not in any areas of a table that commands 14.7 it wont go closed loop

looking at it your chasing your tail iac steps close to 0 fuel trims plummet with the iac closed it obviously doesnt know its decelerating and not locking fuel trims on decel or the fueling is just miles out

Re: VS L67 A2A closed/open loop problems
Good to see you can see where the issue is happening, as when it is flicking to 16:1 then 14.7:1 it supposed to be staying @ 16:1 (if under 1.95 tps, if under 1200rpm & if under 273mgc) but it's not staying in open loop!
Same deal with the IAC it supposed to be running off it, both these issues are happening through out the log especially at end where it was parked!
If you look at bitmask flags you can see clearly when idle flag switches to off & steps are zero even when rpm is under desired, there you'll also see fuel flag being enabled & running off 14.7:1 & learning blms when it should be disabled!

i still dont fathom why your commanding 16:1 or why 14:1 in pe mode these should match wideband a/f ratio im sure you arnt running 14:1 under full noise
