Is this my ignition module packing up?

My vt ss has started coughing and spluttering after sitting in traffic.
Revs bounce up and down and you can hear it missfiring/double firing

I have a video which I'm trying to find a way to attach.
Last time it did it was also sitting in traffic. Doesn't seem to do it when cold on way to work etc

I had these symptoms once on a VR 5 litre. I fitted a new module and it held up fine.
Got mate you can borrow one off? Could even be the dissy possibly.

ellerslie mate. i have a video almost finished processing too.
No i dont. the one mate of mine who does have a known good one is living in aussie and cars in storage.

Also i have seen while logging that occasionaly the crank angle sensor fault will flash and also sometimes when i go to start on first dtart it wont fire but next key flick it will?
The car miss when i put my foot down but it also doesnt pull too well either.
