supercharged delco 808

Post by bluejinx202 »

i've got a holden 202 that i'm about to convert to a vn delco system from atandard vk inj. just wondering if it is possible for this ecu to run the m90 blower aswell on the 202. i actually have a m90 blown 202 but its got a 600 holley on it and i was just waiting to have the money for a programable ecu to do the job. if it's possible for the 808 ecu to do it would be pretty tempting...

am I right in thinking that engine is in a boat? nice.
see this thread for converting the dizzy: https://pcmhacking.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=4
yes, you can run the blown engine with the delco, you just need a 2 bar map sensor and some bigger injectors. user holden202 is the man to speak to about all things injected 202 related :D

I've always wanted to get an old speed boat and put an off its head injected 202 in it .... just for shits and giggles, looks like you've achieved that :D

im also very interested in seeing anymore pics of the blower manifold etc was it custom made etc ? i am putting a m90 on a 202 (not in a boat though) and im trying to work out a decent inlet manifold for injection.

as far as the delco running it .... i reckon an 808 with 12P code will do everything you need it to for sure!

can handle 3 bar boost and has some other custom bits to run accessories, boost solenoids etc.

An M90 on an injected 202 would be volumetric efficiency heaven! Food for thought below from one of the old hands at Yella Terra that has his own company now. They have more freedom for custom fabrication and component design for set ups abit out of the norm

i'm not trying to put these guys products down but im steering clear of them if theres no port divider in the manifold .... i've heard alot of issues with motors sharing runners and having the inejctors feeding more fuel into one port than the other ....

also i reckon the injectors pointing directly down can't be good.

i'm planning to most probably use the vk efi manifold and mount a custom plenum on it for the blower .... i don't think theres much else out there at the moment thats going to do what i want properly ...
