Hi Guys.
Have viewed this forum for quite a while this is my first time posting.
I am amazed and grateful at the amount of work that has been put in by you guys, thankyou.
I would like to ask a question.
I have a VX v6 N/A auto that i am turbo'ing.
I have installed some seimens deka 80lb injectors in preperation for the turbo (GT3540) which i am planning to install next week.
From what i figured, all i needed to do was make an adjustment to the injector base rate, and then smooth out/clean up the injector multipliers based on the blm's.
Thats what ive done, and looking at the log file it doesnt look like my BLM's are much different to a stock tune, i just wanted to double check with people more knowledge able that i am doing it right.
When you look at my injector multipliers in a 3d graph, it doesnt make a nice pattern, but the car does idle well. the only dramas ive had are, it can be a pain to start (needs throttle) and it has a slight hesitation from a standstill at a certain airflow (i have not pinpointed this).
If some one could please point out anything that might be wrong, or how i could make things better, it would be much appreciated.
Also if anybody knows what i should be looking at when i tune the turbo set up, that would be awesome. i do have a wideand coming shortly to help with this.
I have attached my bin file, and my log file from my latest run.
I am using The1's enhanced bin.
The only thing changed from stock other the the injector base rate and multipliers is just some gearbox stuff i am playing with, thermo fans, and my idle spark advance which i was hoping would reduce some of the knock retard. it was probably only about 1 degree in total.

I normally adjust the injector batt offset, inj crank pulse & other similar tables with good data given like what The1 does with his injector testing, but I guess if it aint broke...

shouldn't be any knock retard at idle lol. You will find you have great difficulty tuning a turbo on a flash pcm, the airflow metering is already maxed out for a stock n/a, are you running a different cam? if not the stock idle timing should be fine. Deka's arn't the best of injectors but still very tuneable.

Stock everything. lol, i didnt think about that. I had a look at a log from when it was stock and i was probably getting the same amount of knock retard as it always had, so i guess i can always look at sharpening up the spark table.
Are you saying there is no point trying to tune this ECU? or is it doable in some way?

making any sort of boost you wont be able to tune it as the airflow will be off the tables, so spark will be the last value on the edge of the table, fueling will be also, you might be able to fiddle with the maf values a bit but that's about it. If you changed the engine loom over with say a VX L67 and fitted a larger MAF you could then tune just about anything then easily, you'd also have the L67 tune to start with.
