I was wondering if the 3d printers would be able to make an ecu housing for the 808 that is more weatherproof than the alloy one and would you need to keep the internals shielded ?

I think your issue would be sealing the cables where they come in and being able to expel heat. They dont generate much heat but they do some. Do you want to put it in water or just keep a splash off it? Could put the computer in any sealed box and any waterproof connectors that can take a couple of amps in the loom and mount to case. I dont think 3d printing would provide any advantages over a normal water tight box, but happy to be proven wrong. Just 808 case wouldnt solve the problem with connector corrosion and probably not a watertight connector to the loom either.

I'm with Jenko on this problem, being a speedway guy, we get dust and water everywhere... my 424 is inside an ip rated electrical box, it has a water proof round deutz connector to the outside of the box. All this is great except I still get moisture in side the fucking box...

I assume its condensation and it needs an air vent of sorts? Like the late model Bosch pcm's?..
Anyhow, I'd love a purpose designed ip rated enclosure also. I'm sure I could sell a few of the to the other drivers

You can get screw in breathers for them I run them on other IP rated enclosures in hot wash environments. I'll try and dig up a picture.

Clipsal part number 56D. Can be mounted on the top of the box as a breather or the bottom as a drain or both. They don't let moisture in. Are a 20mm thread size.
