My purpose for looking at this stuff is mainly being able to trigger outputs based on can data, for instance for turning on reverse lights. park/neutral safety when doing conversions where the gearbox only transmits info over can aka 6l80e.

Turn on 2nd fuel pumps etc based on boost/rpm/throttle or multiple conditions... shitttee..... skys the limit.

yeah going to try get a couple of units & programming kit, but in the current environment it could be a long time before delivery.
