You're saying there's a cleaner solution than this?!?

Hopefully the VE VSS works out and we can just run it through a schmitt trigger and be done with it. Must be a reason manufacturers have moved away from VR.

With no pid control if you creep up to the rpm it'll hold it, if you punch it it'll overshoot, overcompensate and stall the motor.

The valve spring seems to run out of travel easier today. Maybe it didn't like being fully compressed over and over. That'll definitely need addressing before I can rely on the pid control but I think we're close now! Or closer than we were this morning.

Is what I use ... Mind you, I am no EE, or even electronically experienced or educated ... I'm just a trial by smoke hacker!

And holly smokes they must have started making them out of platinum plated gold ... They sure got pricey! ~$5us.
