vs commodore manual running on 808 ecu
hi vs commodore ecotec manual now running on the ecotec v6 starts to make a funny noise in high rpm im not to sure if its pinging or not sound like something in a tin can

im not really sure what your saying here, the subject says its a vs commodore on an 808 ecm but then the body of the post says nothing about 808 etc...
in my experience with the ecotec running on a 808 you will have to retard the timing or run 98 octane fuel otherwise it will be ping alot!
so you may well be hearing pinging.
if thats the case try putting 98 octane fuel in it and see if it stops....
