Re: Tricore 1766 Reverse Engineering
I did look into this slightly a few weeks ago as hptuners have it mapped out so well… it’s in the rangers/bt50 since 2013(ish)

That is not from a Ford. Its ja Evo X SST File. Hence the question of whether someone can help.

Re: Tricore 1766 Reverse Engineering
Have you got a modified original & tuned version of any of them?
Re: Tricore 1766 Reverse Engineering
There is no tune yet. Since the beginning, only ecu is made. Since it was never possible to flash the tcu via obd and correct the checksum. Now it is possible. There is no Damos or AL2 so reverse engineering is needed to find the right maps. The gearbox also has temperature problems. You could reduce the temps by adapting the software.
I take a Look with winols and find alot of maps inside but i dont know what they do.

Re: Tricore 1766 Reverse Engineering
Out of interest what did you use to read it & can it be supported for other manufacturer type tcm's too?
Re: Tricore 1766 Reverse Engineering
PCM Flash can do that with Tactrix.

What manufacturer models does it do?
