It should be in the same location shown in the bar at the top of the screenshot. Each device has an entry under there, and it shows the dll path. Here is a screen shot showing the J2534 tactrix location, and you can see on the left the MDI drivers have created a couple of entries too.

If you are running a 32 bit OS then omit the WOW6432Node in the address.

VX Nano does drop an API DLL in the system32 folder, some antivirus will delete this which prevent the program from running.

I recommend download the latest VX manager and installing that first.

I could not find vcxpt32.dll on my machine. I assume that is part of vcx software, wondering why don't I have it?

I just updated vcx two weeks ago to renew my license. Pain in the ass but it works.

Antivirus and firewall are disabled. I see the filepath in registry, but I have no folder named program data under c:/. Is it a hidden folder?

I found program data. It was hidden and the vcxpt32.dll is there. Mystery continues...

Are you connected by USB? And when you open VX manager, does it show the VX nano connected along with its firmware details ect?

Yes, I just updated to 1.8.4 if I remember correctly. If I use my phone as a hotspot, vx manager can't connect to it's server to validate my license, and it crashes. If I use landline internet it connects to server and updates my license automatically. As long as my license hasn't expired, I just run offline and gds2 and tech2win function fine. I used my phone for internet in the past without problems, but something changed after the 2020 license expiration and the new vx manager server is blocked by my phone isp and it doesn't work. It took hours of wasted time for me to finally figure out it was my phone isp causing the problem. Just sharing in case someone else has this ridiculous problem. At&t phone isp.

I could probably use a VPN and it would work with my phone hotspot or tethered again. I do remember I couldn't download the vx software unless I used VPN when I first bought the nano almost 3 years ago.
