It looks like these are from a later revision of the same thing. Jumpers appear to be the same at a glance.

Antus is that the newer version of the speedo corrector that people say they have trouble with on vn to vs commodores?

someone sent these to me, i havn't looked at them but might be worth investigating, they have a few different methods and types.

From memory the original design was from a Silicon Chip magazine, you could probably find the calibration procedure in there too

After reading this thread and finding the silicon chip article with all the info in it i decided to put together a PCB from it and see if i could get it to work.

so this is basically the jaycar speedo corrector mk2 i believe but condensed onto a smaller double sided PCB to fit into a case that i had previously used for another project, and draw up a pcb shape to fit it.
so below, the top trace is the signal from an arduino (5v quare wave) being fed into the speedo correctors input wire, and then the one below it is the signal out of the unit.
Theres a few things i found like part ID's and such that were not right on the PCB and in particular the transistor footprint has two tenths of fuck all gap between the solder pads, so i will update them for future boards, but other than that it works

i also managed to find the firmware for the PIC on silicon chips website so the entire process can be replicated!

That's bloody brilliant. Any chance it can also do signal conversion for those who are doing T5 transmission swaps with ecotecs/L67's?
