bzpt vs eco v6 getrag enhanced mod

Post by upyas »

hey guys

i need to tune a l67 converted vs ute v6 with getrag, is there a enhanced mod that works with this?

i tried the vs l67 one and the eco vs one and it does not work, engine light on etc.

the xdf with the original bzpt that i read bin from original eprom works fine, just wondering if there was a option for the enhanced one.

cheers

bzpt is a $51 program https://pcmhacking.net/memcals.html so you should use the1's

VS V6 N/A Auto
(MAF, CYLAIR 973, EEI, KAL, IMM, ASR, WBAFRT, EOI)
VS_V6_$51_Enhanced_v1.4e.zip

and copy the calibration parts you need over from your bzpt. it has extended maf and cylair, so it'll take boost even thought the original application was NA.

most of the autos have a manual flag, and then you want to mask the CEL flags for any other auto related codes that come up without the auto hardware.

Thanks Antus, can i use the l67 $51 for l67 ?

VS_V6_SC_$51_Enhanced_v1.0e.zip

that one ? that way i can start with the l67 tune already ? i tried putting it in but the engine light was on when i started it, i assumed it was going into limp mode but i did notice the fan did not come on, maybe another code was present ?

hmm well it is a $51 so you should be able to. I didnt scroll down far enough when I was looking up before so I missed that one. its an earlier revision of the enhanced code, but that shouldnt be a problem. I think there are not many manual tunes because you can turn off the auto and mask the codes and use them fine on the manuals, so you should log it and see what DTCs are turned on. Assuming they're all just auto codes, when the hardware does not exist, set the manual flag and mask the CEL for the remaining auto codes and you should be good to go.
