Hey guys running a l67 on vr ecu with 11p thanks to you guys has been running great for over 1 year so far now, but just trying to fine tune a couple of items make it drive a little better.

Standard boost l67
Usual cold air intake exhaust modifications etc done
Vr ecu on 11p
Vr 4l60e standard trans with corvette servo only fitted and fresh oil.

1st one is when i fitted the l67 i fitted a corvette servo to the 4l60e and switched to 11p. Trans seems now (since that swap) to shift way firmer nicer than what it did before with old 3.8 buick behind it.
Is no way the corvette servo made it this much firmer. Im guessing the 11p tune i have may have some trans pressure tweaks maybe ?
Only down side is the harsh park to drive or drive to reverse
Park to reverse engagement.
I found a pdf online about force motor tuning. I think is off here the pdf.
But is a bit beyond my skill level and i dont wanna touch the wrong settings and stuff my 4l60e.

All i really want is a softer park to drive and reverse engagement. The firmer shifts while driving i like and happy with them.

2nd thing since fitting 3.9 diff gears when doing a full throttle pull from dead stop.
I usually do with selector in 3rd gear the car just blips the limiter on the 1-2 shift in drive by sound of it. Not overly worried about this
But on the 2 to 3 change it hits the limiter 2 times before changing.
On the street normal day to day driving the car changes up and down good does not hold gears or do anything stupid etc etc.

3rd thing i know this gets asked probably once a week on here but while im playing with the tune. Is there a easy way i can get it to hold 1st gear when the gear stick is in 1st gear. Ie for doing burnouts etc so it dont shift into 2nd.

4th i have a very conservative tune and know is a lot of variables that can affect this.
And i know i will probably have to upload more screen shots from my tune etc etc
But on 91 fuel when torque converter has just locked (in 4th gear) with 3.9 gears happens around 65kph when car is warm i am getting, i think is called burst knock when i tap the throttle say like 30 40% throttle and just as the TCC unlocks it engine knocks that i can hear it. Switching to e10 that goes away but i can still get it to happen when i am carrying say a 2 ton trailer on back and do the same thing.
I run e10 on the car all the time now 24/7

The shift tables for the Auto trans are based on road speed Vs TPS, with the shorter gears the engine rpm will be higher for a given road speed so you will need to adjust the shift points at full throttle to suit the lower road speed the car will be doing at max revs. There are online calculators that can help with working at RPM Vs Gear Vs Speed. I use this one.

https://www.blocklayer.com/rpm-gear.aspx

To make the trans stay in 1st you will need to increase the max road speed/rpm in all the manual shift tables for 1st gear.

Im guessing these tables which i have played with before i should lower around the 93 and 100% tps tables a couple of km at a time and see how i go in normal mode and performance mode?

Looks like manual shift tables maxed out already ?

Use the calculator to work out the actual speed in gear allowing for a few percent converter slip rather than just guessing.

Does this look like im on the right track put in all my details and around 3% for converter slip

That doesn't look quiet right. I get this.

I'm taking a guess at wheel diameter based on a 235/45/17 (643mm).

In my picture the 3.9s are the green line and within 1kph with what your chart shows.

Hehehe
Immortality have you played with force motor settings before?

I have, turn up the pressures to much and it bangs into gear under low load.

Basically you want enough line pressure so the trans doesn't slip a lot on a gear change but no more than required really.
