OS12590777 P59A off a Hybrid 1500
OS12590777 P59A off a Hybrid 1500
Yes. You read that right. I ran into a P59A off a hybrid 2006 Chevy silverado 1500 before they released hybrids. I've got pictures. I've been trying to read the pcm and get the file off the pcm but it keeps failing through PCM Hammer so I wondered if anyone else happened to run in to this and if they had a fix or had something I could download to read this image. I always try to save every OS file I ever run into because some day, someone is going to ask for it and I'll be able to help so I'm just trying to take that same approach here. I even did a test write to convert this PCM into something else (download a different image onto it) and that even fails so Idk what's happening here. I'll include some snips of what I'm running into. I also included a copy of the debug log to take a look at. Someone smarter than me can probably figure this out. HP Tuners reads the file just fine and I've included that file here as well.

It looks like it worked in that first screen shot, bit the crc part didnt as it doesnt recognise the osid. I'll add the osid to pcmhammer.

Ive sent you a test build that has that OSID listed via PM. Can you give it a test and report back here? If you know the Service Number of the PCM that would be good to note, too.

Re: OS12590777 P59A off a Hybrid 1500
Thanks for that test build Antus. Below are the screenshots and the debug log from the first test run. It seemed to work and pulled off the information but I'm concerned about the "not needed" comments in there. Maybe you can shed some light and let me know that it actually read and took what was needed out of the PCM. One other thing, when you open it in UP, it doesn't show any tables or settings.

Yes, it looks like I did not specify that it was a 1Mb device and so it defaulted to 512Kb. The file only contains the first half of the chip. I've just sent you an updated version which will read a complete 1Mb bin.

That latest test build you sent over worked Antus. Thank you so much for working on that. I'm going to include the .bin here in case someone runs into a case where they may need it.
