Identify Motronic type

Post by kva »

How to identify type of Motronic? For example is the ECU M1.5 or M1.5.4?
On the casing is listed Bosch number and GM number (for Opel's), but not the version of Motronic.
Is there some papers or tables describing all the versions? Or some tables with links between Motornic number and what is listed on the casing?
For example can the casing have following numbers:
Bosch 0261200376, GM number 90351648 (other casings has other numbers)

I've spent a lot of time looking for this information too. I haven't found anything.

I came across this, site that might help.

https://auto-remap.com/original-files

you can Search by Hardware (HW) number. This is the Bosch number on the ECU that starts with 026. Should give you the model.

Here's example
