VY SS cluster CAN converter

G’day
First time post ! I have searched the topic but couldn’t find an answer.
I’ll be installing a Motec M1 to a VY SV8 as a standalone, id like to retain the original cluster and use the temperature gauge as well as the check engine light. Please excuse my ignorance, from what I’ve read the cluster receives uart data? Is there a converter of some sort to receive CAN from the Motec and transmit the data in uart form to the cluster?

I've been looking for something similar for a while.

I have put an M1 into a VX.
The module from MrModule is the best thing I've found (actually only thing) but it does take up a bunch of I/O

Im early days but have started to play with building my own CAN to Class2 module which would sit between the M1 and PIM the PIM would then handle the ALDL side for the cluster/ccm comms etc.

A CAN version (or maybe even one that supports VPW/class 2 as well) is on the to-do list. But it will be a fair bit of work, and I haven't got the spare time for it at the moment.
