Hi gang,
I have a VT 5.0 auto here tuned up great but as soon as it goes into closed loop just above idle it pulls fuel until it stalls.it has a reasonable camshaft and im assuming thats why just off idle the o2s are seeing rich .
in open loop its fine , but the a6e enhanced xdf does not have any way of stopping the car from entering closed loop defined in the xdf.
in the vs version there is a closed loop rpm enable setting but nothing in the VT version . Any ideas ?

I am sure we can. I am about to head out but if you want to help me with the homework part and link me to the VS package that has it (bin and xdf) and the vt package you need it in, I'll pool my resources also with AI and I am sure we can find it.

Outcome achieved, but not verified, test this and let is know. If it works we can put it in the official package, and maybe in the other bins too.
Edit had a minute to add the second screen shot today and noticed it hadn't scaled (added the equation) for the second item, so I fixed that up and made a 1.05b, which is now attached. There was no reason not to do that to finish the job.

Re: VT $A6E enhanced CLOSED LOOP DISABLE
great work Antus and thank you. so tried this today and yes if you select say 2000rpm it delays the stft enable until both the timer and rpm are reached. unfortunately once those conditions are met the ecu remains in closed loop and wont return to open loop idle or running. i have set the enable rpm to 7000 and so it never enables closed loop ,which fixes the issue but means the rest of the tune needs to be 100% accurate which is fine and once locked out of closed loop you can then tune with the open loop commanded afr table which is probably a nicer way to set it up anyway. in efi live they run a custom operating system where the car runs off the open loop table exclusively but if you command 14.7 it will then switch to a semi closed loop which gives you the best of both worlds.
