haltech E6GM-8

Can any one help me out with a haltech E6GM-8 i picked up recently , it didnt come with any cables and I dont know if any one can still program these units in Canberra , I wanted to swap out the stock ECU ( 808 ) in my HQ running a VP 304 and 5 Speed ?

I think its the same software as the E6X as its the same thing but with a different connector.

But have you looked in to 12P on the factory computer? While it is an older computer, if you can still run the original trigger system it's much more capable with better software.

From memory the E6 software needs a 16 bit windows (very old) to install but once it is installed you can copy it from PC to PC and the app runs in 32 bit so still works on modern windows. It's just clunky and needs the old RS232 USB Serial adapter.

thanks Antus i will look into the info you have kindly supplied , just hoping i can find someone who is able to sort it for me and find a plug .
