Re: 2000 s10 pcm issues
Moving this out of can bus pcms since its an older pcm. Going to need more information about this. You make it sound like it didnt auto detect as p08? what osid is it? I can put an update in the next version of pcmhammer. There are a bunch of p08 osids mixed up with p04, the aim is to fix them as we find them.
For the unable to update checksum, you need to tell us how your editing it and more details. We cant tell what 'it' means from your post to understand the problem enough to think about a solution. Its not pcmhammer saying that as it cant edit bins.

Re: 2000 s10 pcm issues
my apologies long time reader here first post but the pcm im trying to modify is a blue/black plug unsure of exactly which p-type it is. pcm hammer originally read it as a p04 i had to use the brute force option to find the correct key to read it at all. im trying to remove the rear o2 sensor using universal patcher. the os its giving me is 9392786 i attempted to pull the file up on tuner pro as well but no luck getting it to take the changes either so im unsure if its a read issue a software issue or just user error

I opened a .bin for a 2000 s10 2.2 flex fuel attached and its not mapped out much like most of them in Universal Patcher maybe you just need to find a .bin that is supported better it did show the dtc though

Thats basically the error i keep getting the checksum number may be different but any ideas on what .bin may be supported better as mine is also the 2.2 but not the flex fuel and manual

How do you make it accept the changes when it does that? When i get that error every time i close then reopen after attempting to save it reverts.
