Hey all,
I've been working on CalibraX, a Windows tool for tuning JTEC ECUs — the 68HC11-based engine controllers used on 1996-2004 Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge vehicles, talking over J2534/SCI. Sharing the first public beta here in case anyone wants to kick the tires.
What it does:
Reads and writes the ECU's flash over a J2534 pass-thru interface
Table and scalar editors with correct units/scaling/axis breakpoints per part number — no guessing at offsets
Compare-to-original and Undo while editing
Curve and 3D surface views for any table, not just the raw grid
Built-in update check so you always know when a newer build is out
Licensing: Reading, editing, and saving projects is completely free, no license needed. Writing a checksum-valid flash back to a real ECU requires a license. Details on how to request one are in the app's About window.
Download: https://github.com/davgeek/calibrax-ecu/releases/latest
It's a portable .exe, no installer, no separate runtime needed — unzip and run. Windows will likely show a SmartScreen warning since it's not signed. A SHA256 checksum is published alongside the zip if you want to verify the download.
This is a beta — feedback, bug reports, and compatibility reports on your interface/vehicle are all welcome.

Hi everyone,
I'm still working on it and have uploaded some improvements to the beta release. I'm currently testing custom-coded launch control on the XJ; once it's ready, it will be distributed as plugin for CalibraX. Cheers!
