A few of us are looking at getting a wideband o2 sensor from Innovate Motorsports, and put simply the more you buy at once the better value it is postage wise, so we want to put it out there to see if there is any interest from anyone in doing a group buy.
The item we are looking at getting is below, but if there is anything on their website you want, then thats fine just let us know.
Details of the item we are looking at are as follows: (extract from Innovate Motorsports Website Details)
MTX-L: Complete All-In-One Air/Fuel Ratio Gauge Kit. Includes: Gauge, Silver Bezel, Black Bezel, White Faceplate, Black Faceplate, Bosch Wideband O2 Sensor (LSU4.2), 8 Ft. Sensor Cable (Overall length 10 ft.), Exhaust Bung, Program Cable (Only needed for Datalogging and to change the Fuel Type Setting), Software CD, and Quick Start Guide.
The new Innovate Motorsports Digital MTX Series Air/Fuel Ratio Gauge utilizes the only 100% digital Wideband air/fuel ratio technology on the market! The award-winning patented DirectDigital™ technology we use is faster and more accurate than common “UEGO” gauges and is now more affordable! In addition, the gauge features a water resistant casing, interchangeable faceplates and bezels, and 2 fully programmable linear analog outputs for use with aftermarket engine managements systems and dataloggers!
KEY FEATURES
• The only 100% digital wideband air/fuel ratio technology!
• Water Resistant 52mm (2 1/16”) round dash-mountable casing is perfect for automotive, powersports, marine, and demanding racing applications
• Built-in Direct Digital™ Wideband Controller reduces wiring and simplifies installation (No LC-1 required)
• Wideband O2 Sensor is compatible with all fuel types (Leaded, Unleaded, Diesel, Methanol, E85, etc)
• Ability to calibrate O2 sensor for increased accuracy
• (2) 0-5v fully programmable linear analog outputs for use with engine management systems “closed-loop” and external dataloggers
• Interchangeable faceplates and bezels: Black and silver bezel, black and white faceplates included
• Large digital readout and programmable “Digital Needle” provides the functionality of a needle style gauge with the pinpoint accuracy of a digital display
• Datalog using LogWorks on your PC
• Serial IN and OUT ports allows for easy daisy chaining with other devices.
So if you were to buy this yourself, you'd be looking at $199 for the hardware and approx $110 postage, however this postage number drops significantly if you get heaps in one go.
Currently we have 3 of these confirmed, so at that rate your looking at about $280-290 per person, and obviously the more people that say they are keen, the less the postage will be per head.
If we get enough interest we will approach Innovate to see if we can get a discount on the hardware aswell as the postage.
So what you need to do, if you are keen, either private message Holden202 or VL400 to confirm your intentions, we will need a $75 deposit from you, and once the final numbers are confirmed we will place the order, and once we know the final value per item we will advise you and then final payments will need to be made before the item will be posted to you.
We would like to order these pretty soon so anyone interested please let us know before 31st January!
NOTE: anyone failing to make the final payment will loose their deposit!!

Have you contacted Kade Speed and Marine to check prices. They are the Australian agents for the innovate products.

May be cheaper as the expensive US postage is not involved.

Got a reply and Innovate dont offer a group buy discount, they say its up to individual re-sellers if they offer any such deal and to contact them.

i'd suggest get the numbers off your mates as soon as you can, then we'll have a better idea of numbers to put to the supplier.ToyHicko wrote:When is the dead line? may be a few people interested

Re: ANYONE INTERESTED IN GROUP BUY WIDEBAND O2 WITH GAUGE ??
Thanks to those who showed interest and got money to me. 6 mtx-l units have been ordered.
we went with an australian distributor and this worked out slightly cheaper than having to pay the import tax.
They tell me that they have 4 in stock and an order for more that should be arriving on friday this week. Once they recieve that they will be posting out my order.
Once i see the final figure on my credit card i will let everyone know the final price per unit.

Spewing I didn't see this in time. How does this compare to the DB gauge & LC-1? Was lookin at one of those, or a 14.7 one, however they are out of stock for 3-4 weeks. Who did you end up ordering these through?
Cheers
