you mean to run a v8 auto tune in a v8 manual computer? no. cant be done.

ok the come tune i got is are auto tune and it runs in my vr v8 manual it just idles at 1500 while driving and the engine light comes on at 60kph or less other than that it idles and goes great

you sure it's a manual computer, whats the code on it, manual VR is 16183082 or 16206305

in which case its probably either a VN/VP auto tune (which is the same code as VN/VP manual and runs on a VR manual computer) or its running in limp home mode.

vr auto tunes do run in manual ecu's but ide probably not be doing it cant do the engine or ecu much good

From memory the come bin you posted was 32k so most likely a manual bin - may have been setup for a hydraulic auto though but will still work well enough with a manual box. Would need to check error codes to see why CEL is coming on.

A VR auto bin will not run in a manual ECU for a number of reasons - the first is a manual ECU can only access 32k due to the upper address line being pulled high and not CPU controlled.
