Re: Coding my own open source 24x ECU [beta available]
It depends if its found a human explaining it well on the internet. the things are causing a problem here, probably 95% of the traffic is AI scrapeing the threads to absorb our experts teachings and the forum disabled alerts are their collective traffic being to high. now its going to cost me time a...

Re: Return-to-idle tuning for a 2002 Corvette
Yeah its all airflow based so IAC is more to add air for A/C engaging or tip in on the throttle to provide more torque quickly when it knows it about to need it from other logic and uses it to smooth everything out.

Re: Two PRs related to CAN logging
Good stuff. I tried 4.6.2 and got in to a world of pain and moved to 4.8 instead. But i'll throw that away as 4.6.2 is a better target for now. Hopefully the readme explain how to configure the OS for the build. I was also testing on studi 2022, not sure if that was part of the problem but it couldn...

Re: Return-to-idle tuning for a 2002 Corvette
Its an analog world, with analog hardware, on a digital control system. in a perfect simulation it would not, but in real life everything isn't 100% stable and has minor variations.

Re: Return-to-idle tuning for a 2002 Corvette
So the question becomes, what feature can the pcm still use to correct it? IAC and idle spark correction would normally do this.

Re: Return-to-idle tuning for a 2002 Corvette
In the earlier aldl delco pcms stall saver only kicks in at very low rpm, during a stall event. so it wont make a difference in normal running or idle. I think it adds a lot of spark, maybe fuel too to try and up the torque dramatically and get the engine above stall rpm before it stalls. hence 'sta...

Re: MDI Clones and Techline
if you smelt the smoke surely there is physical damage to the mdi. probably not related to techline. clones are made by anyone and everyone and quality is not consistant. consistant good hardware quality is what you pay for in the genuine item.

Re: Mother of all 7603 XDF files
depends on the os I think. if its confirmed its 0 1 2 in 7603 then xdf needs updating as we know exactly what os its for.
