Re: Who has tuned a V6 with boost?
I logged a completely stock VX V6 today and it has up to 5 deg Knock retard in the upper RPM range. Considering its a 100% stock car would this be false knock or is the standard timing that aggressive on a VX? Any help greatly appreciated!

Re: Who has tuned a V6 with boost?
I tried bumping up the timing and the difference in power is definitely noticeable. My first attempt at timing resulted in 1-2 degrees of knock retard being logged for a second or two in some places. So I took 3 degrees of timing out of the majority of the curve but on the next log I did there is st...

Who has tuned a V6 with boost?
I have a raptor supercharged VT and was hoping someone on here who has tuned a L36 with boost can save me some time and effort. I am using CXWK as a base which is a XU6 HSV tune. I already have the fueling side sorted and am now attempting the ignition timing which I think will be alot harder as I d...

Auto Force motor pressure questions 4L60E
I was just wondering if I kept the force motor pressure at zero until say 12.5 or 18.75 % TPS. How bad would that be for the trans? The Idea is to have a hi stall like effect and allow the engine to get into its power band much sooner. Could this work or will I be picking my trans up off the side of...

XU6 VT tune with Raptor supercharger
I know a lot of you guys are using the XU6 tune as a base for forced induction applications. I am doing the same with my Raptor supercharger. The question I have is would the memcal provided by Raptor give more gains than the XU6? The air fuel ratios are spot on with the XU6 memcal but being a facto...

VT supercharged tune rev limter
Just wondering where I would find the values for the rev limiter on a VT L67 tune? I would like to lower it by a few hundred RPM if possible.

Lean Cruise good or bad?
I was just wondering if anyone has done testing to determine if Lean Cruise results in hotter or cooler exhaust and engine temps? I have done some google searches and can find examples of people saying exhaust temps go down and some that say they go up? Has anyone seen for themselves what happens to...

Re: VT running very lean? Help!!
It runs very smooth even when lean. However once I see lean on the wideband I back off straight away. The sensor for the wideband is in the left bank and the gauge has a narrow band output which is connected to the ECU, so if the gauge reads lean then the ECU is also getting the lean reading, for th...
