May 2025 update, after also running the Gorst coils on a daily for 4 years straight had no issues. The son's speedway car had a coil failure on the weekend, pulled the Gorst coils off the old daily and ran with them, no drivability issues but did notice that the electricity seems to be leaking :lol:...

Yes, that information is correct. EEPROM are less likely to get wiped or corrupted accidently.
