T43 TCM Finding gear ratios in .bin
Re: T43 TCM Finding gear ratios in .bin
i found the FWD trans os that would have been used with my e67 from factory if interested
I just tried plugging in the 6l50 TCM under the car. It threw a u0100 code so I turned that off but it didn't seem happy. My homemade can dash display wouldn't pickup prndl or trans temp from it. Either not sending messages or different addresses

besides years, the tcm's are same same in 6l50/6l80e.
the device index stuff is what sets the U100/101 codes. it's basically telling the module who it's expecting to be receiving data from.
ID 320 will be what is transmitting your PRNDL position & as can be seen is not turned on in the 24256125 calibration by default.

mapped out the 24249042. it's pretty much the same as the 24256125. i suspect it's because your using the corvette platform that your getting the comms issues.
I will have a deeper look later tonight when i get home.

Re: T43 TCM Finding gear ratios in .bin
what software are you using to read/write with?
I can give you the addresses for the 24256125 os so u can have a play.
This is that 24249042 cal I would make these changes to the 24256125 cal Some stuff i'd turn off because the modules sending that data are likely not in your car, so if it aint there, no point have it listening.

Re: T43 TCM Finding gear ratios in .bin
So far I have been using demo winols/tunerpro to find and make a change then using universal patcher to fix the checksum then using the hpt to bin program copying the differences from the original using the raw edit function. It's tedious but it works haha
Edit. Just looking at the screenshots trying to understand. This really opens up the door for conversions. Allowing the TCM to receive 0x2d1 messages might even let me signal when I'm in 4 low
That would be great

Re: T43 TCM Finding gear ratios in .bin
Are you flashing with hpt?
Re: T43 TCM Finding gear ratios in .bin
Yeah bringing it back into hptuners and flashing it in. To make sure it was working I then did a read and converted it back to a bin and made sure it still had my changes
