Adjusting the desired shift times only gets you so far, but there’s still a bit of a delay on the 2-3 upshift. After defining the ramp rate time vs TPS that’s all fixed now. Shifts nice without even needing any additional pressure. Wasted $100 on a max speeding rods 44mm wastegate. But after a closer look, I won’t be using it. The old mvs tial style 44mm is what I used on the last build but that too wasn’t perfect. I think a gfb 44 is on the cards as far as the wastegate goes. Never used them but there definitely cheaper then a turbosmart gate. Also took a trip down the wreckers to grab an oem cast manifold. And started ordering some sch40 piping. Toying with the idea of trying to weld steel to cast iron 😂🤣. If not no big deal. Also want to try keep it all low mount. I know I’m making things harder on myself.
When you are done maybe you want to write a quick guide to which tables/scalars you are adjusting in the tune to make the 4L60e happy. :)

I actually tried to the other day. Spent a couple hours going over it all, and then went to post it up here and told me I was logged out. Then after I logged back in it was all gone. After spending 2-3hrs writing it all, I was like yah nah I can’t be fucked going through all that again. I might have to write less

Some of that stuff isn’t available yet in the current xdf anyway. Will have to wait till there’s an update. I think the1 and chrome are working on stuff and I’ve been spending a lot of time still working on the xdf. So I’m definitely excited and waiting for the1 to release that. Just need real time thrown in 😎

I've been caught out by that before too, mostly a issue when I'm on my phone and it looses signal.

Yeah, there are a lot of XDF's that are missing these tables I think.

Pretty much it’s all just taking away the soft sloppy shifting that holden obviously programmed in. I noticed the vy v6 series 2 tunes run more upshift pressures in both normal & performance modes. So that’s a good starting point. Then the desired shift times, or adaptive shift times. You’ll need to lower the scalers for them first before adjusting the main tables. Normal/performance high/low times vs tps. I’m using the desired shift times from a hsv 285kw tune

Then you’ve got all the upshift/downshift tps vs kph tables as well as tcc. Which I’ve blended once again the 285kw stuff over. Down low the v8’s will shift earlier with less tps. But they’ve also got more low end torque. So anywhere that these tables are higher then the 285kw ones I leave as is. One of the big improvements is that it’ll now downshift with less throttle, bringing the engine rpm up and into its power band earlier.

So pretty much just more performance style shifting patterns

I'm playing with a VT ecotec V6 and fairly much non of that is in the current XDF. I don't think the VX L67 XDF has them either.

I did start adjusting some stuff on my mates VS L67 as that is fairly well defined but then he went and had a boo boo and now it's parked up awaiting repairs.

The adaptive shift pressures vs tps are set to high as well. So once again the 285kw settings were changed over. Just pretty much limits how much adaptive pressure can be modified. But still be active and fairly safe as it’s from a factory tune

Then I was noticing that it was shifting pretty good. But after re learning, I noticed the 2-3 upshift was still hit and miss sometimes. That’s when I found the ramp rate vs time & tps tables. And seen that at the 2-3 upshift the times were to high. So once again adjusted them to suit. After driving around for over week now, I’m very happy with the shifting. No more sloppy 4l60e 👌 and when I need to over take it’s much easier
