Realtime VY Flash ECU - WORKING

I bricked a vy ecu with a little whoopsie and decided to remove the plcc32 chip and get a adapter so i can write the tune back on it with a eeprom burner

While it was apart I decided to try and get it working with a emulator, why not?

It works, no need to explain how it was done as you can see all in the video

ps ignore the bad supercharger screech, its just the belt, the car made over 210rwkw auto, 7psi Raptor supercharger, i tuned it flash not with the emulator

Going to keep this ecu for tuning and then writing the flash to the other ecu when done, getting the vx ecu done next.

Going to play around with this on my vx, doing a rear mount turbo kit on it soon and was going to go after market ecu but I might just use the stock ecu now.

people later in that thread tried adapters, but its limited how much of that you can do before the signal integrity is too low as people report in the thread.

Didn't know the original poster here was using a Moates unit.

Whilst I'm here posting, has anyone seen one of these emulators yet, wondering if there's a way of making it work.

Edit: are the VY chips 256 or 512kb, I'm not at home to check just yet, unit in the link above is for 256kb.
