Re: Wiring in wideband to 808 ecu

No I splurged out on a come twin throttle manifold and had them make me a turbo cam for my heavy ass car with the tall gearing.
lol. the bloody manifold cost more than my missus whole car!!!
looks like my fuel pumps will be worth more than her vx v6 engine!!
stupid cars...lol.

well... sounds like once you get a half decent tune into it youll need to start worrying about broken diffs and gearboxes

lol.. I hope so.
when the kids came along... The higher power made me sell my old yamaha R1. (I loved that bike. It could wheelstand off the throttle at 100km/hr in third gear, and could get the front up at 200 if you clutched it real good.)
Just trying to get the old 4x4 to go similar as good as the bike did!!!
I was breaking engine mounts in the engine before while it was gutless.
I welded the donk in good a couple days ago. the only way it's going anywhere this time is if the block splits or chassis rails bust.
I am a little nervous about my home made rear tailshaft. hope the stick weld holds up. Might go up to shed and make a loop just in case. It's killing me waiting for parts. I've had the engine all back together and cant drive it to test it out. only reversed it in and out of shed.
Never been in a powerfull car before, so don't really know what to expect from the new turbo v8.

Ok,
After hearing he news about the bluetops... I am today pulling all the turbo stuff off the car. oil lines, water lines, manifolds dump pipes etc and making the exhast all back to N/A with some changes to pipe sizes. It was a rushed job when I done the v8 conversion a few years ago. whole thing took 3 days around the clock to do everything myself. diesel out. petrol v8 in.
Needed done fast because at the time only had 1 car and was miles out of town.
done the conversion under an old box tree up the paddock with ropes/pulleys etc. and made the entire exhaust and extractors out of stuff I had laying around. ha ha. the extractors were stick welded up out of old second hand gal, water pipes. I wa sa bit of pipe short for something so I hacked up my steel blockbuster handle and even used some of that... my muffler shop was amazed at my ingineering after showing him one day. ha.ha.
The pipes after 4 into 1 collectors were way too small, something like 1 1/2 thickwall pipe.
So I am cutting it up and fixing it up then just try to tune this thing NA for now so i can drive it.
Then I'll pur all the turbo back in when the injectors turn up... could be a month or so. need to save again for entire fuel system upgrade and injectors.
Thanks guys for all the help.
