Get an E38 or E67 ECU and pester the people here working on the open source stuff.
Don't stress specific units.

Unfortunately not very practical in a 2004 GTO. I've seen a guy swap an E38 in a 2005 or 2006 that came with the E40. If I were doing an LS swap, I would just pick up the computer that went with the engine, a P59 for 24x or an E38/E67 for a 58x.

I've heard that the Holley software can swap between the two.
