Also in process of modified E38 OS with 8HP70 Custom OS so they can talk natively

With out man in middle, Converter box for canbus. these are now obsolete.
I started down this path myself, but i have like 6 spare 6l80's & have no issue with them, so I'm sure as shit not gonna pay the crack price $$$ for a 8hp & all the bell housing adapter bullshit you need just to adapt it.

Fair call, the 6L80 is working for you. The case for the 8HP is the extra ratios and gearing. Whether it's worth the conversion cost depends on the build. If yours already does everything you need, it makes sense to keep it.

Thanks for clarification on the words "boot block" being a reference to your read/write "kernel" etc. (many different names for the 4k or so block that is loaded to RAM to take control & read from and/or write to flash ๐Ÿ˜Š.)

In referring to boot block above, I was indicating the GM boot block at 0x20000 flash mem with segment ID 24234461 for the 06-09 T43's, and 24246947 for 10+ T43's.

So couple thing needed updating, will do that in next 2 weeks

Yes i know there is a status indicator it says boot-block it suppose to say RAM helper. its just spelling mistake ill have it sorted in next build

please remember its pre-release and it is working. updates are coming.

Only calibration data is programmed; this is not an OS, boot, program or EEPROM flasher. Independent verification follows the guided ignition cycle.

Next release ---

Extra OS`S

GM MDI 1 as Another device

All Adapts will be working

Unsure whether your T43 is supported? Start with Identify Controller.
It shows the reported OS and saves a report in Logs. If the app recognizes a supported profile, you can select Save OS, which runs its own compatibility checks before uploading the read helper.
If the result says unsupported or identification only, keep the report for follow-up. The app stops before uploading a helper.

T43 OS support in 0.4.156: Rapid Fire has verified profiles for VE 24256125 and VF 24267577. If your T43 reports a different OS, run Identify Controller and share the identification report saved in Logs so we can assess it for future support.

If Identify Controller shows a supported profile, you can select Save OS. The app checks the live controller before uploading the read helper. An unsupported or identification only result stops at the report stage.

Save OS is a read operation. It does not erase or program TCM flash. If Identify Controller reports an unsupported or identification-only OS, Rapid Fire stops before uploading the read helper. If a read starts and then fails, keep the session log and follow the appโ€™s instructions.

I would suggest putting a version number in the xdf file download and if you havn't in the xdf. It's likely these files will get passed around and if you don't do that it won't be obvious which version is the newer one if any errors are picked up and corrected.
